Incident Summary:

06/30/2018: Assailants attacked military personnel in Bla Brin, Nguigmi, Diffa, Niger. At least six soldiers were killed and three others were injured in the incident. In addition, four others were reported missing and the outcome is unknown. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Al-Barnawi faction of Boko Haram, also known as the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP).
