Incident Summary:

07/04/2018: Assailants attacked the municipal hall and village in Mopac, Poblacion, Maguindanao, Philippines. Four assailants were killed and two soldiers and an unknown number of assailants were injured in the ensuing clash. In addition, five civilians were kidnapped and the outcome is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Movement (BIFM).
