07/06/2018: Assailants attacked security forces responding to reports of extortion in Poblacion North Cotabato, Philippines. Three assailants were killed and three assailants were wounded in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the New People's Army (NPA).
