07/07/2018: Assailants opened fire on the palace of Chief Ukanga Udo, the former village head, in Etim Ekpo, Akwa Ibom, Nigeria. At least four people, including Ofonime Ukanga, the son of the former head, were killed and six other people were injured in the assault. No group claimed responsibility for the attack.
