Incident Summary:

07/14/2018: Assailants attacked a Nigerian military base in Jilli, Geidam, Yobe, Nigeria. At least 31 military personnel, two Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) members, and five assailants were killed and 25 military personnel and three CJTF members were injured in the ensuing clash. Additionally, an unknown number of solders were reported missing in the incident. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the the Al-Barnawi faction of Boko Haram, also known as the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP).
