08/02/2018: Assailants abducted Kenneth Nanji (Nanji Kenneth Ene), the Ekondo Titi mayor, in Bekora, South-West, Cameroon. Nanji was released sometime on or before August 4, 2018. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources suspected the involvement of the Ambazonia Defense Forces (ADF) in the attack.
