Incident Summary:

08/30/2018: Assailants abducted Yasir Ahmad Bhat in Watho, Jammu and Kashmir, India. Bhat, the son of officer Bashir Ahmad Bhat, was released unharmed on August 31, 2018. Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that the abduction was carried out in order to exchange the victim for the release of assailant family members.
