Incident Summary:

09/21/2018: Assailants abducted Fayaz Ahmad Bhat from his residence in Kapren, Jammu and Kashmir, India. Bhat, the brother of a police officer, was released later on the same day. This was one of four coordinated attacks in Shopian on the same date. Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) claimed responsibility for the attacks. Authorities also attributed the attack to Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
