Incident Summary:

10/10/2018: Assailants attacked military positions in Kaiga Kindji, Mamdi, Lac, Chad. In addition to 48 assailants, eight soldiers were killed and 11 soldiers were injured in the ensuing clash. It is unknown whether there were any other assailant casualties. The Al-Barnawi faction of Boko Haram, also known as the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), claimed responsibility for the incident.
