Incident Summary:

11/23/2018: A suicide bomber detonated an explosive device at a mosque on an Afghan National Army (ANA) base in Mando Zayi district, Khost, Afghanistan. In addition to the assailant, 27 soldiers were killed and 57 others were injured in the blast. The Khorasan Chapter of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the incident. Sources also attributed the attack to the Taliban.
