11/27/2018: Assailants attacked a military base in Kauwa, Kukawa, Borno, Nigeria. Three soldiers were killed in the incident. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Al-Barnawi faction of Boko Haram, also known as the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP).
