Incident Summary:

12/01/2018: Assailants abducted seven people, including traditional ruler Semh Mbinglo, from Kumbo, North-West, Cameroon. Mbinglo was released the following day on December 2, 2018, but the fate of the remaining six hostages is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to separatists.
