Incident Summary:

12/03/2018: Assailants armed with firearms and bows and arrows attacked an Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) outpost in Nduga district, Papua, Indonesia. At least one soldier was killed and another soldier was injured in the assault. This attack targeted an outpost where four construction workers were seeking refuge from a previous incident. The Free Papua Movement (OPM-Organisasi Papua Merdeka) claimed responsibility for the attack.
