Incident Summary:

12/10/2018: Assailants attacked an Afghan National Civil Order Police (ANCOP) outpost in Zaman Abad, Pashtun Zarghun district, Herat, Afghanistan. At least 10 assailants and four police officers were killed and eight assailants and seven officers were injured in the ensuing clash. This was one of two related attacks that occurred in the district on this date. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
