Incident Summary:

12/18/2018: Assailants opened fire on a Citizens Armed Forces Geographical Unit (CAFGU) detachment in Katipunan, Tapaz, Capiz, Philippines. There were no reported casualties in the attack. This was one of two related incidents targeting CAFGU detachments in the area on this date. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attacks to the New People's Army (NPA).
