Incident Summary:
01/00/2019: Sometime between January 1, 2019 and January 31, 2019, an assailant forced his girlfriend at gunpoint to wear a Schutzstaffel (SS) hat inside his residence in Green Township, New Jersey, United States. The assailant took photos of the incident and later posted the photos on a fake Instagram account and sent the photos to her Jewish employer after the couple broke up. Michael V. Zaremski claimed responsibility for the incident. Sources noted that Zaremski processed "a large collection of white supremacy and Nazi materials" and the victim stated that he had an "obsession with Adolf Hitler."

Criteria
Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.
