01/24/2019: Assailants opened fire on a group of people gathered for a funeral ceremony in Ippy, Ouaka, Central African Republic. At least 18 people were killed and 23 others were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Union for Peace in Central Africa (UPC).
