Incident Summary:

01/31/2019: Assailants attacked an military position in the center of Masisi, North Kivu, Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is unknown whether there were any casualties in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the incident to four separate groups, including the Alliance of Patriots for a Free and Sovereign Congo (APCLS), the Nduma Defense of Congo (NDC), the Nyatura Militia, and the National Council for Revival and Democracy (CNRD).
