02/28/2019: Assailants opened fire on Justice Mohammad Ayub in Hayatabad, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Ayub, a Peshawar High Court (PHC) judge, was injured along with his driver. Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the incident and stated that the attack was carried out in retaliation for judges issuing death and imprisonment sentences to TTP members.
