03/10/2019: An explosive device was discovered and defused near the Phayun Police station at the intersection of highways 4049 and 4026 in Pak Phayun, Phatthalung, Thailand. There were no reported casualties in the blast. This was one of 16 related bombings in Phatthalung and Satun over a 24-hour period. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Barisan Revolusi Nasional (BRN).
