Incident Summary:

03/21/2019: Assailants entered a civilian residence and held seven people hostage in Hajan, Jammu and Kashmir, India. Six hostages were released or rescued and one hostage and two assailants were killed in the ensuing clash with security forces the following day, March 22, 2019. Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) claimed responsibility for the incident and demanded that the family "bring back one of their daughters who was shifted to Sopore after Ali had started threatening her to get married to him."
