Incident Summary:

03/23/2019: Two explosive devices detonated targeting provincial officials during a public celebration in Lashkar Gah, Helmand, Afghanistan. At least five people, including Asif Khan, the deputy head of National Directorate of Security, were killed and 48 other people, including the Helmand governor and two members of the provincial council, were injured in the attack. The Taliban claimed responsibility for the incident.
