03/26/2019: An explosives-laden truck detonated along a road between Miranda and Caloto, in Corinto, Cauca, Colombia. There were no reported casualties in the blast. No group claimed responsibility for the attack; however, sources attributed the attack to the Popular Liberation Army (EPL) and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) dissidents.

Criteria 1
The act must be aimed at attaining a political, economic, religious, or social goal. In terms of economic goals, the exclusive pursuit of profit does not satisfy this criterion. It must involve the pursuit of more profound, systemic economic change.

Success of a terrorist strike is defined according to the tangible effects of the attack. Success is not judged in terms of the larger goals of the perpetrators.
