Incident Summary:

04/23/2019: Assailants opened fire on a Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) rescue vehicle transporting two injured soldiers in Bandiangon, North Cotabato, Philippines. At least one civilian was injured in the assault and it is unknown whether there were any casualties in the ensuing clash. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the New People's Army (NPA).
