04/25/2019: Assailants opened fire on Pathomphong Kaewthong, a volunteer ranger, and his wife, Nureehan Dengla, in Kadunong, Pattani, Thailand. Kaewthong and Dengla were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to anti-government extremists.
