05/16/2019: Assailants raided Ceilia, Lac, Chad. At least 13 people, including the local chief, were killed and several houses were set on fire in the attack. At least 30 people were also abducted, and the hostages were released later the same day. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Boko Haram.
