06/18/2019: Assailants abducted 9-10 fishermen in Lahad Datu, Sabah, Malaysia. The hostages were released on June 21, 2019. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG).
