Incident Summary:

06/22/2019: Assailants opened fire on Kaseke, South Kivu, Democratic Republic of the Congo. This was one of two related attacks in South Kivu on the same day. At least 24 people were killed across both assaults. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Mayi Mayi and the Resistance to the Rule of Law in Burundi (Red-Tabara).
