Incident Summary:

06/28/2019: Two suicide bombers detonated at the 1st Brigade Combat Team post in Kajatian, Sulu, Philippines. In addition to two assailants, at least three soldiers and three civilians were killed and 22 others, including 12 soldiers and 10 civilians, were injured in the blasts and ensuing clash. The East Asia Division of the Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack. Sources also attributed the attack to the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG).
