Incident Summary:

07/26/2019: Assailants attacked a border outpost in Nyaung Chaung, Rakhine, Myanmar. One assailant was killed and six people, including two police officers and four civilians, were injured in the attack. The Arakan Army (AA) claimed responsibility for the incident, stating that the attack was carried out in retaliation for the military's intimidation of civilians, and sources also attributed the attack to the Arakan Rohingya Salvation Army (ARSA).
