07/31/2019: Assailants opened fire on Sultan Rashid Duure Omar as he was leaving a mosque in Kismayo, Lower Juba, Somalia. Omar, a traditional elder, was killed and two others were injured in the assault. Al-Shabaab claimed responsibility for the incident.
