08/04/2019: A suicide bomber driving an explosives-laden vehicle detonated in a collision with another vehicle near the National Cancer Institute in Manyal, Cairo, Egypt. In addition to the assailant, 22 people were killed and at least 47 others were injured in the blast. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources suspected that the attack was carried out by the Hasam Movement, which denied involvement.
