Incident Summary:

08/20/2019: An explosive device detonated targeting a police convoy in Thikwaseik, Rakhine, Myanmar. This was one of two related attacks targeting this convoy in Rakhine on this date. At least three police officer were killed and three other officers were injured across both blasts. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Arakan Army (AA).
