08/31/2019: Assailants attacked police security check posts in Atghar district, Zabul, Afghanistan. At least 32 people, including one police officer and 31 assailants, were killed and two soldiers were injured in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Taliban.
