Incident Summary:

09/03/2019: Assailants abducted Othman al-Hasan from a hospital, where he was receiving treatment for a previous assault, in Bab al-Hawa, Idlib, Syria. The whereabouts of Al-Hasan, a Syrian American Medical Society doctor, are unknown. This was one of two attacks targeting the doctor on the same evening. Hay'at Tahrir al-Sham claimed responsibility for the incidents and stated that the victim was misidentified as a kidnapper.
