Incident Summary:

09/18/2019: Assailants attacked Hema civilians in Ituri, Democratic Republic of the Congo. This was one of three related attacks in Ituri on this date. At least 14 civilians were killed and five others were wounded across all three attacks. This was one of four attacks in this area overnight. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Lendu Militia.
