Incident Summary:

09/25/2019: Assailants attacked a construction site and abducted workers in Maiduguri, Borno, Nigeria. Two Christian hostages, Lawrence Duna Dacighir and Godfrey Ali Shikagham, were later executed on video. The Al-Barnawi faction of Boko Haram, also known as the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP), claimed responsibility and stated that the incident was carried out in revenge for Christians killing Muslim women and children.
