Incident Summary:

10/03/2019: Assailants attacked a military convoy in Kaga, Borno, Nigeria. At least 16 soldiers were killed and 14 others, including soldiers and civilians, were injured in the incident. Two soldiers were also reported missing following the ambush and their whereabouts are unknown. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attack to the Al-Barnawi faction of Boko Haram, also known as the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP).
