10/15/2019: Security forces intercepted assailants as they were planting explosive devices in Calang Canas, Basilan, Philippines. There were an unknown number of assailant casualties in the ensuing clash, and six explosive devices were recovered. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attempted attack to the Abu Sayyaf Group (ASG).
