Incident Summary:

10/16/2019: Assailants held 18 laborers hostage in in Trenz, Jammu and Kashmir, India. The assailants opened fire on non-local traders. One person was killed and another person was injured in the attack. The remaining hostages were released a short time later. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Hizbul Mujahideen (HM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT).
