Incident Summary:

10/21/2019: Assailants attacked and set fire to the vehicle of Alexander Botello, a mayoral candidate, in Miraflores, Norte de Santander, Colombia. There were no reported casualties in the attack. This was one of two attacks on Botello in one week. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) dissidents.
