Incident Summary:

10/29/2019: Assailants threw explosive devices and opened fire on members of a Nasa indigenous convoy in Toribio, Cauca, Colombia. Five people, including indigenous Tacueyó governor Cristina Bautista, were killed and six others were injured in the attack. This was one of two related attacks in Toribio on this date. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) dissidents.
