Incident Summary:

10/29/2019: Assailants attacked the village of Magera, South Kivu, Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is unclear whether the attack resulted in any casualties, but several houses were burned in the attack. This was one of four attacks targeting South Kivu within 24 hours. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Twigwaneho militia.
