Incident Summary:

11/18/2019: Assailants ambushed former New People’s Army (NPA) members who had recently surrendered to government forces in Inubod, Matuguinao, Samar, Philippines. One of the former NPA members was killed, a local tribal elder was injured, and another former NPA member was reported missing in the attack. The whereabouts of the missing individual area unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the New People’s Army (NPA).
