Incident Summary:

11/29/2019: Assailants set up a checkpoint and clashed with Kurdish Asayish personnel in Kassar neighborhood, Busayrah, Deir ez-Zor, Syria. At least two officers were injured in the assault. This was one of two similar incidents in and around Busayrah on the same day. No group claimed responsibility; however, sources attributed the attacks to the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
