12/07/2019: An assailant ambushed and opened fire on Stephen Carr, a police officer, outside a police station along west Rock street in Fayetteville, Arkansas, United States. Carr was killed instantly and the assailant was killed by police responding to the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources identified the assailant as an anti-police extremist and sources noted he was "looking for an officer to kill."
