Incident Summary:

12/12/2019: Assailants set fire to the residence of Binod Hazarika in Chabua, Assam, India. Hazarika, a BJP MLA, was not harmed as there were no reported casualties in the attack. This was one of two related arson incidents in Chabua on the same day. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Popular Front of India (PFI) and Maoists.
