12/14/2019: Assailants opened fire on civilians in Kantari, Est, Burkina Faso. At least seven people were killed in the attack. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Islamic State in the Greater Sahara (ISGS) or Jamaat Nusrat al-Islam wal Muslimin (JNIM).
