12/14/2019: Assailants ambushed Democratic Congo Armed Forces (FARDC) members escorting a prisoner in Maluku, Mambasa, Ituri, Democratic Republic of the Congo. At least two people, including a soldier and a taxi driver, were killed and another soldier was abducted in the attack. The outcome of the abduction is unknown. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to the Mayi Mayi.
