Incident Summary:

12/14/2019: Assailants abducted Eider Colina Ruiz from his farm in San Nicolas, Arauca, Colombia. Ruiz, the Arauca treasurer, was released on December 17, 2019 in El Amparo, Apure, Venezuela. No group claimed responsibility for the incident; however, sources attributed the attack to Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) dissidents.
